On my second visit, I got a vanilla/mint chocolate chip mixed milkshake and loved it. The consistency was just right—not too thick—and the flavors blended surprisingly well. Plus, the straw size made it easy to sip! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which adds to the great atmosphere. I also love that FTLOD is a minority-owned business and enjoy supporting them. The only reason for a four-star rating is that I haven’t had the chance to try all their cookies yet!

I had two of the fall flavors, Pumpkin chocolate chip and pumpkin snickerdoodle, and I made the mistake of not ordering more to go. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, thick, and freshly baked. There are a ton of cookie shops around Columbus, but For the Love of Dough stands tall among them. Ditch the pink box chain, and support local, they know how to make a damn good cookie.
